PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER

Look, near the world-famous Space Needle! Are those five, 85 foot, white, spaceage arches the entrance to some 'Logan's Run' Theme Park? Well, sort of. Welcome, citizen, to Seattle's Pacific Science Center.

Annually, over nine million humans attend more than 1,500 entertainment events at the Pacific Science Center, making it the fourth largest visitor destination in the United States! The PSC has got it goin' on! Admission to Pacific Science Center will get you into five buildings worth of exhibits, a free planetarium show and some other demonstrations. There are killer laser shows set to different musical genre soundtracks (sorry, no Laser Garth just yet) and a mammoth Imax theater to check out. These buildings stand proudly adjacent to the Space Needle and are host to some zany public art and even a sculpted hedge family of 1/2 scale Brontosauruses!

The grounds around the Center share the Needle's 'Jetson's' groove, and the fountain has been upgraded to seem even spacier. This treelined campus serves as the outdoor venue for annual events like Folklife, Festal and Bumbershoot, as well as tons of other festivals, concerts, and cultural hoodoo.
